The Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts are recognizing 100 years of protecting public health and the environment. To celebrate, we are having an art contest!
Art contest is open to all 1st through 12th grades students in Los Angeles County.
Submit original artwork that shows your idea of the meaning of this year's theme, "Using Science and Technology to Protect our Waterways.".
Contest will have three categories: elementary school, middle school, and high school.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be selected for each category.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will receive gift cards of $300, $200, and $100, respectively.
The winning artwork will be displayed at the Clearwater Tunnel construction site, as well as on our social media and website.
HOW TO ENTER
Create artwork that shows your idea of the meaning of this year's theme, "Using Science and Technology to Protect our Waterways.".
The artwork you submit can be a painting or drawing, either created by hand or on a computer.
Your entry can be letter size (8½" x 11"), tabloid (11" x 17") or in between.
Your entry must be your original art.
One entry per student.
You must be a student in Los Angeles County between grades 1 and 12 to enter.
Submit your entry between October 2 and November 3, 2023.
